I graduated in 2015 from Ripon college in Wisconsin, cum laude with a 3.42 GPA. I was a Psychology major and a Studio Art minor, but I took many extra classes in areas such as Sociology, Biology, and Philosophy. My focus for my major was Neuropsychology. I co-ran 3 large psychology experiments at Ripon and wrote papers on each, 1 of which was published in a journal. If you need somebody to review your thesis, IRB forms, or do a general APA-style check, I am your (wo)man.
Experience
I tutored for 3 years while at college, and specialized in students coming from unusual situations. There is something very unique, I find, in working with students who actively seek out tutoring and want to make the most out of their education; being able to watch them succeed is a privilege. Although I am just out of college, I had experience working in several areas while I was enrolled; during my freshman and sophomore years I interned as a therapist for inmates at a county jail as well as a tutor for inmates enrolled in the facility's GED program. During my sophomore, junior, and senior years, I worked as a graphic designer and photographer for the college itself. My GRE scores were 161 in Verbal reasoning and a 152 in qualitative reasoning.

Hobbies
In my free time I enjoy drawing from nature, or figure drawing if I get the chance; I think a few of my pieces are still posted on the Ripon college site if you want to see some examples of my work. I also like reading books about all sorts of topics, but particularly unusual autobiographies- 'The Owl Who LIked Sitting on Caesar' by Martin Windrow is my current bedside read and it is fantastic. Another pastime of mine is playing video-games with well written plots.
